Since 2014-2015 the Master's Programme operates under a new curriculum and it's title is “MSc in Applied Informatics”.
The programme leads to the awarding of a Master degree entitled as "MSc in Applied Informatics", in the following specialiazation streams:
- Computer Systems and Network Technologies
- Computational Methods and Applications
- Business Computing
- E-Business and Innovation Technology
The duration for the MSc award is three (3) academic semesters for the full time programme while for the part time programme the duration is two (2) additional Semesters.
Every academic semester includes at least thirteen (13) full weeks of lectures. The lectures begin on a Monday of the first full week of October. All courses include three hours per week lectures..
The MSc degree is awarded after the completion of 90 ECTS credits. More specifically 30 ECTS credits per semester or 7,5 ECTS credits per course and 30 ECTS credits for the thesis. The specialization streams that will be offered every time, will be decided by the General Assembly of Special Composition.
The classes include teaching (lectures, laboratory excercises, exams). All students are required to attend and succeed in the exams of 8 courses in total, 4 per semester. The third semester includes thesis preparation and thesis examination.
Until the academic year 2013-2014 the MSc Programme was leading to the awarding of: MSc in the following specialiazation streams:
