Curriculum

The curriculum of the Graduate Program as well as the starting dates are announced by the programme's secretariat and is included in the guide of studies. 

The General Assembly of Special Composition is able to modify the distribution of the courses, in the additional academic semesters of the part-time programme, as well as to modify the Curriculum, after the approval of the Senate of Special Composition of the University.

The full-time programme's duration is three (3) academic semesters, while the part-time programme's duration is five (5) academic semesters. All students are required to attend and succeed in the exams of 8 courses in total, 4 per semester. The third semester includes thesis preparation and thesis examination. Each course being taught in a semester equals to 7,5 ECTS credits, while the thesis equals to 30 ECTS credits. The MSc degree is awarded after the completion of 90 ECTS credits.

All courses include three hours per week lectures. The lectures begin at the first full week of October. The lectures are given  in the afternoon and particularly: Monday-Friday 16:30- 19:00 και 19:00-21:30.

The detailed curriculum for the full time programme is outlined below:

Courses of the 1st stream of specialization "Computer Systems and Network Technologies" 

Semester A (30 ECTS credits in total). The students may choose : either 4 courses from Table 1.A. or 3 courses form Table 1.A. together with 1 elective course from some other stream of specialization, in Semester A.

Semester B (30 ECTS credits in total). The students may choose : either 4 courses from Table 1.B. or 3 courses form Table 1.B. together with 1 elective course from some other stream of specialization, in Semester B

Semester A (30 ECTS credits in total)The students may choose : either 4 courses from Table 2.A. or 3 courses from Table 2.A. together with 1 elective course from some other stream of specialization in Semester A.

Semester B (30 ECTS credits in total). The students may choose : either 4 courses from Table 2.B. or 3 courses from Table 2.B. together with 1 elective course from some other stream of specialization in Semester B.

Semester B (30 ECTS credits in total). The students may choose: either 4 courses form Table 3.B. or 3 courses form Table 3.B. together with 1 elective course from some other stream of specialization, in Semester B.

Courses of the 4th stream of specialization "E-Business & Innovation Technology"

Semester A (30 ECTS credits in total). The students have to attend the 1st course quoted in Table 4.A.1 and can choose : either 3 courses from Table 4.A.2 or 2 courses from Table 4.A.2 and 1 elective course from some other stream of specialiazation, in Semester A.

Semester B (30 ECTS credits in total). The students have to attend : either 4 courses  quoted in  Table 4.B or 3 courses from Table 4.B and 1 elective course from some other stream of specialiazation, in Semester B.

Semester C (30 ECTS credits in total):  Master Thesis

The analytical curriculum for the part time programme for each stream of specialiazation is the same as the curriculum of the full time programme and the only difference here is that a part time student has to attend and sit exams for only 2 of the offered courses, respectively in Semester A and B of the full time programme. The thesis for the part time student, "corresponds" at the 5th semester of his studies.
