Tuition - Assistantships
Tuition cost for the Master's Program of the Department of Applied Informatics is 2.500€.
For full-time students the tuition fees for the 1st and 2nd Semester are paid in two equal installments of 550€. For the 1st Semester the first is due during the registration period and the second during the first two weeks of the semester on a date set by the Secretariat and for the 2nd Semester the first is due at the beginning of the semester and the second in the middle of the semester on a date set by the Secretariat. Tuition fees for the 3d Semester are paid in one installment of 300€ during the first two weeks on a date set by the Secretariat.
For part-time students the tuition fees for the 1st Semester are paid in one installment of 625€ which is due during the registration period. Tuition fees for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Semester are paid every Semester in one installment of 625€ during the first two weeks of the corresponding semester on a date set by the Secretariat.
The payment of the tuition fees of every semester is a prerequisite for participation in the exams.
In cases where there arises obligation for the student to repeat a course (either due to failure in the exams during the regular exam period and during September's exam period or due to exceeding the allowed absences) the amount of the additional fees for every single course is calculated as below:
Cost of one semester/ total number of courses of the semester (4 for full-time students and 2 for part-time students).
Old graduates can order extra copies of the certificate or transcripts from the Secretariat of the Program at a fee of 6€ .
Fees can be paid:
(a) by direct deposit to Piraeus Bank acc# 5202-025156-307 (account holder Graduate Program of the Department of Applied Informatics), (IBAN GR40 0172 2020 0052 0202 5156 307)
(b) by check (for details the student should contact the Financial Office of the Research Committee of the University of Macedonia).
For direct bank deposits you should indicate the first and last name of the student.
The Master's Program awards a scholarship per Specialization every semester. The scholarship covers all or part of the tuition fees and is awarded to the student with the highest GPA during the previous semester.
